COMPOSITION

• Each 5 ml syrup contains Cod liver Oil USP 100.00 mg  & Vitamin A (as Retinol Propionate USP) 2000 IU, Vitamin B1 (as Thiamine Hydrochloride USP) 0.70 mg, Vitamin B2 (as Riboflavin Sodium Phosphate USP) 0.85 mg, Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride USP) 0.35 mg, Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid USP) 17.50 mg, Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol BP) 200 IU, Vitamin E (as dl-alfa-Tocopheryl Acetate USP) 1.50 mg, Nicotinamide USP 9.00 mg.

PHARMACOLOGY

Kidsgro is a multivitamin syrup with cod liver oil, which contains B vitamins and fatty acids (cod liver oil). This combination gives extra protection to children and gives some beneficial effects to stimulate appetite and improve digestion, promotes healthy hair, Skin & nails, good vision, strong bones & healthy teeth, increases the resistance against coughs, and colds, and helps to maintain healthy muscles and nervous system brain development.

Kidsgro contains Cod Liver Oil which is nature's most abundant source of Vitamins A and D, supplying a unique combination of health-promoting properties. It is also a particularly rich source of rare eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) which make up the important omega-3 essential fatty acids. These omega-3 fatty acids, keep blood triglycerides in check (high triglycerides are generally linked with increased risk of heart diseases) and may inhibit the progression of atherosclerosis. They also have anti-inflammatory activity; as a result, they are also helpful in Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis. It has been also found that omega-3- 3 fatty acids are needed for prostaglandin formation. Probably as a result of their effect on prostaglandin, they are responsible for blood vessel dilation. Omega-3- 3 fatty acids help to treat a patient with Raynaud's disease. It has been also found that EPA & DHA have some preventive role in cancer and prevent cardiac arrhythmia.

INDICATIONS

Kidsgro is indicated for growing children. It helps in the development and proper functioning of their vital organs. It helps to prevent vitamin deficiency and restore lost vitality after illness, in case of appetite or tiredness of growing children It also increases immunity and helps to maintain healthy skin, hair, nails, teeth, bones, eyes, and nervous systems. In adults, it helps to treat and prevent chronic diseases like heart disease, arthritis, COPD, cancer, etc. In pregnant and nursing mothers it helps in the proper development of the baby.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

• Kidsgro syrup can be taken with water or milk.
• Children 1 to 12 months: 2.5 ml daily (0.5 teaspoons)
• Children 1 to 4 years: 5 ml daily (1 teaspoon)
• Children above 4 years: 7.5 ml daily ( 1.5 teaspoons)
• Adults:10 ml daily (2 teaspoons)

• Generally well tolerated, a few allergic reactions may be seen with some specific vitamins.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
