Composition

• I-fort Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml contains Polyethylene Glycol 400 USP 4 mg and propylene GlycoI USP 3 mg.

Clinical Pharmacology

The combination of Polyethylene Glycol 400 and propylene Glycol is clinically proven to reduce both signs and symptoms of dry eye. The mechanism of action is thought to be due to its unique gelling and lubricating system formulated to adjust to each user's individual tear pH. When the ingredients of I-fort combine with natural tears, a soft gel forms a network of protection over the eye surface. Since it promotes a healthy environment on the eye surface, damaged surface cells of the eye can be repaired more easily.

Indications and Uses

• I-fort Sterile Eye Drops are indicated for the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.

Dosage and Administration

• Instill 1 drop 4 times daily in the affected eye(s) or as needed.

Contraindications

• It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this formulation.

Warning & Precautions

• Never touch the tip of the container with any surface to avoid contamination.               

• Replace the cap after each use.

Side Effects

• Generally well tolerated. I-fort should not be used if an allergic condition occurs to any ingredients of the product.

Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place, and protect from light. Do not use longer than one month after first opening. Keep out of the reach of children.
